High Quality Strings

I've never had one of them snap and they last a very long time compared to the usual string manufacturers. They are low maintenance and deliver a fantastic sound.

When the guitar is properly set up these strings give me the confidence that they can handle anything that I throw at them on stage or at home.

They are slightly more expensive than usual strings, but the price is worth the quality you're getting from them.

Great studio strings, but...
NEJC 01.06.2015
In search for the best sounding strings i have tryed virtually everything there is on the market. The offer shure is good and broad, but the strings that really stick out regarding sound in my oppinion- are the DR's. Now the first thing you notice when installing this strings- they are NOT user friendly. The tention on the strings is really strong, strings are hard to bend, so you really have to work for it. But if you just want to have the best sound out of your guitar, then this string set just works! The strings are louder than any other strings just by playing with your guitar unplugged, and when plugged in, you get more punch, more overtones... it just works better! This is probably the result of DR's unique way to compress strings to a smaller size, so when you play the 11 strings, you actually get the sound of a 12. But i wouldn't reccomend them for everyday use, as there are other strings on the market, that are more comfortable to play- that is unless you prefer a really hard string set... So for the studio- this is the only thing i buy now.

My favourite strings
Midnight Walker 08.05.2021
I think strings are a personal matter and for me these are the best. Excellent sound quality and most importantly, feel. They just feel great under my fingertips. Life expectancy is pretty much like most non coated strings, but it doesn't bother me

DR Strings

Good quality strings. I have been using DR Strings for year now and they have not disappointed. The heavy gauge have great sustain and resonance without being too bring or ringing at the top end. Excellent for a chunky chord player with a few note runs to tonally punch through a busy or noisy tune.
