The curved sides and sharp tip, provide a smooth feel, and punch in your lines. Because os the thickness, it gives you a warmer sound than, say, the .88 model. You still get a little "zing" because of the material.

different material, dull, not wear-resistant

Since .88 and 1 have the best sound and wear resistance, I decided to buy this terrible 1.5. But here the METHERIAL is completely different (not wear-resistant). The pick is very dull from the factory and it is impossible to make it sharper, since it wears off by a millimeter per minute of play and becomes just as dull as it was initially super fast. The sound may be normal, but it is very quiet, since it is simply difficult to hit the string with such a blunt pick, it slides off the string.

picks are the perfect middle ground between standard guitar picks and smaller options like Jazz III. They allow fast, precise picking for soloing and shredding, while still being comfortable and effective for rhythm playing and heavy strumming. On top of that, the Tortex material feels amazing—great grip, great response, and very consistent. Highly recommended.

I always used thinner picks previously but tried these in 1.35mm black and love them for speed and precision so I got some 1.5mm white to try. they seem just as good and i love the tortex feel and grip.
