The design and execution are flawless. The sound and easy of tuning were right on point. I have snares from mapex, Sonor, Yamaha, Ludwig and this truly shines. These have a slightly dark tonality but equally at home in jazz, pop and country. The mag throw off system is the quietest I have ever used. Think switching from brushes to sticks in a quiet vocal passage without a sound. The true hoop cross stick is sublime.
I am sure these would work it but the most challenging of volumes as well. A complete versatile drum and an all in one instrument.
I am going to buy the kit as well. Beautiful!
Thomann as always never disappoints on delivery and customer care. Five stars.
