Pros:

Looks good, high-quality build, very responsive to even the slightest of touches, very loud and great attack

Cons:

Not a great range of sounds - more suited to and excels at a medium tightness

It was crafted excellently and was a gorgeous snare drum however the sound wasn't quite what I imagined. I assume that may just be as I'm used to deeper snares that provide a lot more versatility but overall, it gets a 7/10.

DW-einfach hammermäßig

Spielte bisher billig-Gretsch bzw. Mapex Black Panther. Die Satin oil 14"x05" von DW der Hammer. Verarbeitung first class, Sound kommt auch bei leidiger Stimmung (bin kein Profi im Stimmen) ganz nah an gewünschten EAGLES-Souind hin.

Ist ihr Geld allemal wert. Reißt die ganze Batterie raus.

Super Snare :) aber besser mit Unterlegscheiben

Also vorweg mal: um den Preis ist und muss die Verarbeitung Tip Top sein und dass erfüllt die Snare fast zu 100%. Einzig eine Spannschraube ging etwas schwerer zu drehen aber mit WD40 Öl hat sich das sofort erledigt.

Sie lässt sich super leicht und präzise stimmen und klingt crisp aber auch sehr angenehm ausgewogen. Die 5 Position Snareteppich Einstellung ist ein Traum. Die Teppich Spannung lässt sich super schnell verändern. Dass könnten ruhig alle Hersteller einbauen, genauso wie das MAG Throw Off.

Einzig die Spannschrauben sind zu lange, sodass man schnell bei einer mittelhohen Stimmung ansteht

-> Lösung: 2 Unterlegscheiben pro Stimmschraube (Tama Hold Tight Washer + normale Metall Scheibe) dazu und die gewünschte Stimmung kann eingestellt werden :)

Ich gehe mal davon aus das DW die gleichen Schrauben für alle Snares verwendet und somit sollten sie ab einer 5,5“ Tiefe nicht mehr zu lang sein.

Also am besten noch die Tama Unterlegscheiben mit dazu bestellen und man ist auf der sicheren Seite.

Ansonsten definitiv einer der besten Snares in Sachen Sound und Verarbeitung die ich je gespielt habe.

Bin super zufrieden damit :D
