You don't get any range to experiment with placement
Because the nylon out of which is made is soft and because they don't use very strong glue, after a moth or so, it will form an air bubble underneath where the suction cups make contact and won't hold anything in place.
Pro
It won't take your finish off with it when you'll replace it.

Ich verwende die Folie, damit meine Ergoplay Gitarrenstütze an der Gitarre mit Schellackpolitur hält. Das tut sie ausgezeichnet :) Die Folie läßt ich auch einfach wieder entfernen und soweit ich das einschätzen kann, schadet sie nicht dem Lack.

Pas vraiment convaincu

Je l'ai acheté pour une guitare à la finition de type naturel sur laquelle les ventouses ne marchent pas. Pas convaincu par le principe. Finalement je ne l'ai pas utilisé, un peu inquiet pour les conséquences sur la finition de la guitare après plusieurs mois. Pour une guitare pas chère pourquoi pas sinon j'ai préféré un système avec des aimants.
