Great for learning

Bought this 5 months ago to use next to my ESP FX Standard for daily practice.

It arrived playable, action was set fairly high but no problem to adjust to lower action. The finish was not prefect, there was some poly finish on the fretboard just passed the binding but this was easily fixed with some high grid sandpaper. Other than that the finish was fine.

Obviously it is not at the same level as my ESP FX Standard as it is less then a 4th of the price but so far i have almost only used the EC-256 in the past 5 months, which says alot. I love the feel of it, i like the sound of the pickups and it looks great. It has left me wanting another EC or Les Paul shaped guitar.

I would seriously recommend this as a first guitar.

Excellent sound

Very good guitar Only ESP i've owned and first coil split.
Very user friendly and easy to play. Arrived quite well set up out of the box and ready to play. A good clean sound but gets dirty very nicely. Arrived very well packaged. I ony play at home or just small gigs at friends parties. Overall a very good guitar my only gripe is the way I play I tend to turn the volume down slightly when playing due to position of the volume knob.( but to be honest thats more my fault) the knob slightly lower would be good for me. I do reconmend this guitar if your into the warm humbucker sound. and for your info I play blues

Best guitar I've had
Diet Sodium 23.09.2024
First if all, I ordered this color because it was the cheapest in the line - and I'm so happy I did it. Lemon Drop looks amazing in reality!

I've had three electric guitars before - eight string Schecter, Ibanez RG and a Squier strat. This one stands out a lot. Craftsmanship - no visible defects or anything like this. Knobs and push-pull work great. The guitar looks and feels more expensive than it is.
Humbuckers are pretty good, and coil split doesn't sound too bad either. Tuners are okay. Not going to upgrade anything in the nearest future for sure.
Overall, it's an amazing guitar. Can't be happier with the purchase!
