Fender Locking Tuner BK

I have installed these tuners on a recent Fender Player Stratocaster made in Mexico.
Package indicated they the tuners were made in Korea and there were three long shafts for the E, A, D strings and three short shafts for the G, B, E strings.
The tuners were a 100% fit and the replacement was done in about 15 minutes.
They look very good and work like a charm !
Would buy them any time again.

Building a Partscaster has always been on my to-do list. I decided to go with a Fender Neck and Body, for a g'teed fit and finish. So when choosing parts, I have tried to keep to genuine Fender parts where possible, unless a vital upgrade. Nothing to do with any resale value, but purely to keep the aesthetic and quality high.
So, I went with these locking tuners after checking various alternatives. They look the part and wanting an all black axe these fit the bill perfectly. Smooth action, locking and 'easy fit' being my practical priorities. A quick message to Thomann to check they would be suitable for my ordered neck and this was confirmed. Impressed with the machining and finish, packaging and performance. Good locking tuners are essential for tuning stability and ease of string change. These are perfect. I am fiting a Vega Trem and so this aspect is important. I can only give a perfect score as really you will not be dissapointed. I will be getting a chrome set of these for my 1982-3 JV Squier that is next up for restoration.
