It's a simple looper like the tc ditto looper but with the extra function that you can store 3 presets, and save them in your pc eventually.
The sound quality is very good, I have tried it intto the fx loop of my amp (which is quite picky - mesa rectifier solo head) as the last pedal of a chain of 4 pedals in the loop and it sounds the same as when it is off.
Keep in mind that the volume knob doesn't affect just the recorded phrase, but once the pedal is on, the whole level drops. When it's maxed it's on unity level , at least to my setup.
All in all, for the price I 'm happy with it
Edit:
After having spent some more time with it I realize that the volume thing is a big issue. I'm torn whether mine is defective, otherwise the very existence of the volume knob is useless. Once the pedal is engaged, the volume knob controls the whole signal, the dry as well ,it is supposed to affect only the volume of the recorded part not the dry part. Secondly , the sound is not unaffected ,it most definitely cuts off some low end frequencies, but I suppose that could be expected given the price, although I am talking even when the pedal is off, that is not how true bypass is supposed to work.
