Pretty good quality
Iamnotfamous 29.04.2021
I just purchased two saddles, so that I can have a backup is I mess the first one, as they need to be thoroughly adjusted to fit.
Both of them have the exact same dimensions, they are made out of very good quality bone. What's interesting, though, is that, when held under powerful light, one is almost translucent, while the other is visibly more dense. It is an organic material, so I get it.
It will be a fun DIY project - I already have a bone saddle on my acoustic, but it is a little bit loose, so I will eventually replace it with one of these.
Later Edit - very easy to work with. I have managed to hand shape a beatiful saddle, with a perfect, snug fit in the slot.

WB
Hard Nut!
Woodwork Barn 29.03.2020
A lot of people say bone is the best material for a nut. I bought this one to make two fretless bass nuts. The quality is really good, it was really hard and consistent which makes it nice and predictable for tooling. My budget meant I didn't even look at Tusq or similar so to get two real bone nuts for under 3 euros is mega value for money. A brass nut on a fretless bass would have meant my open strings sounded fretted, so with my budget the choice was between plastic and bone and the answer was a no brainer really. Very happy, top quality and fantastic price. Well recommended. :)

RR
Excellent

Very happy with this saddle, I've been buying from an American supplier and these saddles are every bit as good but beware if you have never fitted a bone saddle before the materiel is very hard to work with but worth the effort in improved sound.

S
Plenty to spare
Slowesthand 11.07.2023
Purchased to replace the original saddle on a 1970's D28 replica. I was surprised how difficult it was to source a 93mm long bridge blank from local music shops or even online from UK suppliers.
This product has plenty of spare material to enable a fair degree of experimentation to match the camber of the fretboard and the finessing of the B - E string transition which often causes problems and buzzes if the top surface is filed to too fine a point.
