Quite uncomfortable at first

I bought this strap about a month ago to see if it will make my guitar feel lighter on my shoulder - putting it on first was a pretty big disappointment, it's quite uncomfortable. For now, I'm hoping that the leather will soften somewhat with use.

Also, I'm wearing my guitar at belt level, so not too low or high, and the adjustment part of the strap is in contact with my back, so I can feel that it's protuding, it's a bit annoying.

I expected the strap holes to be really snug on a new leather strap, but they are not. So putting it on the guitar is not an issue, but I'm not sure how secure it is.

The neoprene padding holds the strap and guitar very firmly in one position, so it's probably very good for neck-divey guitars. As for me, unfortunately, my similarly wide, simple, cheap nylon strap was more comfortable.

I'll update the review if the leather ever breaks in and softens.

Nice bass strap that fits well on the body and feel great. Make`s your heavy bases feel lighter. Solves any Neck dive.
German made, Which means good quality. What can I say?... " perfect"...
i am a Thomann / Harley Benton fan without doubt. and so will you when you find out what bang for your buck your getting.
Strongly recommended. will buy again.

Einsatz: Gurt wurde für eine Gibson SG angeschafft, da ich nach einem Gurt mit einer rauen Innenseite zum Kompensation der Kopflastigkeit gesucht habe. Für die leichte SG ist der super verarbeitete und qualitativ ansprechende Harley Benton Gurt etwas überdimensionert, habe inzwischen Lösung mit einem anderen Gurt.
Aber - der Harley Benton Gurt ist wunderbar geeignet, sich eine Les Paul oder eine ES335 umzuhängen. Vor allem das Gewicht der Les Paul wird gut verteilt und man bekommt keine Schulterprobleme.
Der Harley Benton Wide Leather Padded Strap verlässt die von Harley Benton gewohnten Preisregionen, ist sein Geld aber im Vergleich mit anderen teureren Gurten auf jeden Fall wert.
