Harley Benton StrapMaster great for a Gibson Les Paul
bbs36 11.01.2024
I recently had the opportunity to buy and test the Harley Benton StrapMaster on my Gibson Les Paul. Here's my take on how this accessory held up.

Build Quality and Design:
The StrapMaster didn't disappoint in terms of build. Made with sturdy materials, it felt durable enough to trust with the weight of a LP, which is no light instrument. The design is unobtrusive and blends well with the guitar's aesthetics.

Installation and Compatibility:
Installing was straightforward. It fit seamlessly onto the existing strap buttons of my LP without needing any modifications. This ease of setup is a big plus, especially for those who aren't keen on altering their prized instruments.

Security and Stability:
The primary concern with any strap lock system is its ability to secure the guitar, and the StrapMaster excelled here. It held the LP firmly, giving me confidence to move freely while playing. There was no slippage or instability, which is crucial.

Value for Money:
Considering its affordability, the StrapMaster offers great value, especially for those who want to protect their guitar without spending a fortune.

Conclusion:
The Harley Benton StrapMaster is a commendable choice for any Gibson Les Paul owner. It combines security, ease of use, and affordability without compromising on quality. Whether you're gigging regularly or just jamming at home, it's a reliable accessory that ensures your guitar stays safely strapped to you.

No Need To Steal Beer Bottles Now?
BillDL 04.04.2022
These are obviously modelled on the rubber beer bottle top seals from a Dutch beer brand, and other large brand names have used the idea to make their own, but the Harley Benton ones are much cheaper than other brands. The red rubber seals from beer bottles are very stretchy. These ones are a bit stiffer but they still stretch enough to get over the strap button and I think that they are more secure than the bottle seal ones because they are a bit stiffer.

They work
Wes Frost 23.09.2023
I have a hard time trusting a guitar without straplocks, however from time to time I have to play guitars that do not have them installed. Then it is always great to have these in my pocket, just to give me some extra confidence that the guitar won't just fall on the ground.
On all my guitars I have installed straplocks, but if you have a real vintage guitar that you don't want to modify or, as me, you have to play whatever instrument is available to you at the moment, these do the job.
Not quite strap locks, but the next best thing.
