First let me say that the iRig2 is a great tool. It makes practice through your phone and earbuds so easy! I can go over my music, try new sounds, experiment with playing styles, all without disturbing my work at home wife (thanks COVID). This thing has made getting my guitar practice in wonderful. Its small, intuitive and easy to carry around. I can use it for live sound as well as home. The 1/4 inch ouch is great, but I do find i need to run it through a DI box if I am going to house sound.
I like having the interface on my phone while I have my music on my iPad. This cleans up my music stand makes breakdown a breeze.
The only thing I wish I had paid attention to was how you get the different amp sounds and emulators. they do not come with the iRig2's iOS application. You need to buy them separately. This can get pricey, although its not too bad if you just need a few, but for me, I would love to have everything. Just make sure you know what you're getting before you buy.
Either way, i would highly recommend the iRig2 to you. Whether you're a stage musician, home hobbyist, or church player its a great asset in your tool bag.
