Compact near-field high-end monitor

The JBL LSR 305P MkII is an active two-way near-field monitor with an impressive price-to-sound ratio. As the most compact member of the American manufacturer's 3 series, this monitor features some of the most efficient concepts from JBL’s considerably more costly M2 monitors. The tweeter's patented Image Control Waveguide ensures a large sweet spot and an accurate representation of the stereo panorama, while the double-flanged bass reflex channel on the rear panel enables powerful bass reproduction regardless of the size of the housing. This bundle contains two monitors and a pair of steel table stands.

The frequency response of a larger model

Thanks to its special bass reflex technology, the compact JBL LSR 305P MkII can reach bass ranges that other five-inch devices can only dream of. The frequency response starts at a remarkable 43Hz and extends all the way up to 22kHz. A high performance and extremely precise transient response are the result of the newly revised driver design. The rear panel includes a set of controls for bass roll-off and high shelf filter which allow you to make adjustments to match the sound of the room. The five-inch woofer and the one-inch tweeter are both fed by separate power amplifiers with an output of 41 watts each.

Stylistically diverse

The JBL LSR 305P MkII brings the advantages of a good frequency response, a large sweet spot, and a clear transient response to all musical genres. No matter if you’re an EDM producer, hip hopper, singer-songwriter, or metalhead, if you're after an inexpensive monitor that just sounds great, the LSR 305P MkII has everything you need. Even in areas which are not exclusively music-related, such as post-production for podcasts or YouTube videos, this speaker offers a reliable basis for assessing your sound.

About JBL

JBL is an American company founded by James B. Lansing in 1946, which first went under the name of Lansing Sound Inc. Following legal disputes with Lansing's previous company, Altec Lansing, Lansing Sound Inc. changed its name first to James B. Lansing Sound Inc., and then finally to JBL in 1949. JBL's current headquarters are based in Los Angeles, USA. The company is well known for its audio system equipment, including loudspeakers and headphones, and is divided into two branches: JBL Consumer, which is dedicated to the consumer sector, and JBL Professional, which is focused on the professional audio sector and offers equipment for studios, live applications, and cinemas. JBL has been a part of Harman International Industries Inc. since 1969, which in 2017 became a subsidiary of the Samsung Group.

In the studio and on the road

The JBL LSR 305P MkII's specifications make it suitable for use in spaces of all sizes, including smaller rooms and conventional bedroom studio setups, which are often prone to problems with bass reproduction. Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight of just 4.5kg per speaker, this two-way system is also an excellent choice for mobile recording sessions.
