A good sounding di box for instruments, I always used it on phantom power so can attest to the battery usage.

Clean DI with lots of headroom.

I usually use it with my fender active deluxe precision, which has an 2 9V blocks inside and lots of output. The Klark Teknik has no problem with this and lots of headroom.

Used for Bass Guitar
CharlesBidwellAudioEngineer 17.06.2019
Great DI box, used for Bass 3 times a week. It's not as good as the DN series, but is very cheap and has XLR or Jack Inputs.

What's not to like??
Maybe the blue on-light that's brighter than the sun!
