Poor design/manufacturing
mb1987 28.03.2022
I returned the guitar right after I received it, so I cannot say much about sound and features.
After receiving the guitar I removed the strings, as the ones it came with were corroded and unplayable. I noticed the nut was pretty loose and almost jumped out as the last string was removed. Looking more closely at the nut slot I noticed that the trussrod was sitting proud of the bottom of the nut slot causing the nut to properly sit in the slot. It was rocking on both sides with a high point in the middle. Only with pressure the nut was able to sit flat in the slot, which then meant that the trussrod was pushed down constantly and clearly not doing what it is supposed to do.
Unsure if this is a manufacture error or an issue with the design, but since I noticed that the frets were also not installed very well and super rough on the top, I decided to return the guitar and keep looking for alternative guitars. Thomann support was very good and handled the return swiftly.

Great guitar but!

This is an amazingly good guitar, I absolutely loved it but sadly I knew I couldn’t live with the weight.. 4 kg is too much to have hanging round your neck for a 2 hour plus set.. also the neck at the nut is a little to narrow but I could live with that if it was lighter…
I returned the guitar..

PK
Weel built, good sounding guitar
Peter Kj 23.09.2020
The H7 is a very well built instrument, I've found no flaws in binding, inlays or finish. It's not light weight but it sings and has a good clarity in the tone.

The volume controls seem to have a treble bleed that is tuned so it does more of a bass roll off than regular volume control, it's almost like having a seamless blending from humbucker to single coil, not bad but works different from what I'm used to.

If you're not having trouble with a neck that's 40 mm at the nut this is very much guitar for the money.

quality issue
dalijoky 05.12.2022
very rusted strings
high nut
shrinked neck, so you can feel the fret when moving along the neck.
g string first 3 frets are sharp due to high nut and first fret distance. Even lowering the nut doesn't fix it. Went to 2 stores to get setup.
With all the rework and troubles, I might as well get a more well known brand with better quality control.

with all the good youtube reviews. I'm very disappointed. It doesn't take an expert to see a bad quality.
