not quite what I needed

Good old quality Manfrotto item that did not disappoint.

However, It was not suitable for the project I had in mind as I realised that M12 screw was too short for my intended use.
I did later on find an alternative product a female version that allows you to use the bolt length of your choice. (Doughty)
