p
very good Fender JB copy!
primitivo 21.02.2022
This bass looks nice and plays nice! Roasted maple neck and alder body match the color and laquer is faultless. Body resonates powerfully when practising without an amp. Neck is very comfortable, pickups are good, pots work well. Needed some fretfork and neck adjustment to avoid buzz but after that I really enjoy playing it and feel no difference to US made Fender JB-s.

EB
Great passive 70's style jazz bass!
Egor Balakirev 31.10.2021
This is my first bass, i wanted to buy a Sire bass (V7 mostly) since I've heard many good things about them. And I'm glad that I procrastinated long enough for this bass to come out because it's perfect for me specwise and looks gorgeous. You can't beat roasted maple neck, block inlays and natural finish on a jazz bass! Fretboard on my bass looks like ordinary maple since it's much more pale compared to the neck body. But it doesn't bother me so much since it's with perfect balance with the color of the body.

I think that the fact that it's passive is only a plus. It has this raw growly sound of 70's jazz bass and can be very smooth too. It's easy to find the exact sound you want without endless rotating nobs on preamp. No issues with pickups and electronics.

The neck is excellent, rolled edges makes it really smooth and comfortable to play. Setup was very good from the start. Easy trust rod access is also very nice feature. It's pretty light for a jazz bass, at least the one I got.

So basically if you want a 70's style jazz bass you can't go wrong with this one. Especially for this price. So go ahead!:)

Y
Awesome Jazz bass.
Yngve66 29.12.2022
There is no instrument shop in my little hometown. So i can't go and test play before buying. I read much good about Sire basses, and they look so nice on the internet. So i bought myself one for Christmas. And what a perfect Jazz bass. I put flatwounds on it(the roundwound it came with is good quality). It feels like no bass i have played before. It's so nicely rounded and everything is just nice to the tuch. And it sounds like a vintage jazz bass. The finish on the laquer, the roasted neck, the logos, it looks very much like an expensive posh brand made instrument. Smooth flatwounds on this smooth neck is very comfy and sounds so nice. I am so happy i went with this bass.
