I purchased this cymbal from Thomann just over a year ago, and I have been very impressed with it. It is built to last, and it sounds great. The decay is longer than I was expecting, and to start with the sound even slightly overpowered my 17" Zildjian A Custom crash, but the sound of this cymbal has improved with some use (and dirt!). It's great for live shows where the cymbals can't be mic'd, as it cuts through the mix nicely. I bought this as a mid-price replacement for an older china and was planning to replace it with another Zildjian, but the sound and tone of this cymbal has grown on me, and a year later it's still part of my setup.

Ich oute mich als Meinl Liebhaber und spiele mittlerweile nur noch Meinl Becken, vorzugsweise Dark / Classic Custom Dark Serien.

Als notwendiges agressives China Becken welches letztlich nicht nur für reinen Metal gedacht ist, habe ich mich dann für die hellere Brilliant Variante entschieden.

Damit bin ich auch einfach glücklich, weil es sich dennoch gut zu dem sonst eher dunkleren Sound einfügt und ein großes Spektrum abbilden kann. Je nachdem wie hart angeschlagen, reicht es vom Charakter des Akzents hin zum durchschneidenen China. Nicht nur im Klang, auch in der Lautstärke empfinde ich es als äußerst variabel.

Die Verarbeitung ist wie immer tadellos und insgesamt ordentlich behandelt und gepflegt, sieht es noch immer neuwertig aus. Alles in allem bin ich rundum zurieden.

Der Bestell- und Lieferprozess seitens Thomann verlief wie immer reibungslos, somit gibt es auch hier nichts zu bemängeln.
