Ich habe mir diese Snare als Austausch für die 10" Snare meines MPS-750X bestellt. Dadurch, dass diese Snare auf einem Snareständer steht und nicht am Drum-Rack hängt, kann ich die Snare deutlich flexibler aufstellen. Außerdem ist es ein weiterer Schritt Richtung "Spielt sich wie ein Akkustik-Set" (habe bereits HiHat, alle Becken und das Modul meines 750X ersetzt).
Die Optik finde ich klasse: Der Metallik-Look gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. An der Verarbeitung habe ich ebenfalls bisher nichts auszusetzen. Am Kessel sind gleich 4 Piezo-Sensoren verbaut. Dadurch lösen Rim-Shots und Cross-Sticks sehr zuverlässig aus.
Die Lautstärke ist beim Bespielen leiser oder zumindest dumpfer, als beim originalen 750Xer-Pad. Das sollte keinen Nachbarn übermäßig strapazieren.
Aber nun zum Wichtigsten: Es spielt sich wirklich schön! Ich bin zwar kein sonderlich guter Drummer, aber ein paar Akkustik- und E-Drumsets habe ich bisher schon gespielt und diese Snare macht mir wirklich Spaß. Ich freue mich jeden Tag aufs Neue, mich ans Set zu setzen und die Snare zu bespielen.
Insgesamt eine weitere schöne Modifikation für mein MPS-750X, die sich gelohnt hat und die ich nicht bereue.

Cea mai buna completare pentru Millenium MPS 750X.
Raport calitate / pret foarte bun.
Este sensibil si are dinamica buna, mai ales dacă il echipezi cu un mash Roland MH2-13.
Marimea (13") se apropie de dimensiunea unui premier normal.
In plus, arata si mai bine decat premierul de 10" din set :-)

Good relatively quiet snare upgrade for E-Kits

Got this snare to upgrade my Alesis Crimson 2 SE, I used a floor stand with the stock 12" snare so changing to this was relatively easy.
The stock snare got upgraded to being a 4th tom which the Alesis module supports by default.
This is noticeably more quiet, not noiseless, but definitely made playing in an apartment more stress free.
Touch under the stick is also more enjoyable, playing feels more effortless compared to the 12" mesh head on the stock snare.
I enjoyed so much that sometimes I play just the snare alone without powering on the E-Kit.
Electronically I had to adjust nothing, this just worked.
Highly recommended, I think the around 130€ price was still a good deal for what I got. Friend has a Millenium kit that looks very similiar to my Alesis, after trying mine with this snare, he also wants to get one.
