I have a Roland td-17 drum. I bought all the acoustic design pads of the Millennium brand. First of all, they are compatible with Roland :) They worked as soon as I put them on. I had to make some adjustments to get the rim sounds properly. In terms of material quality, they are quite good in appearance and look handsome. What I don't like about these pads is that they cut the sound off quickly. As if I mute the pad with my hand, the sound disappears in a short time. When I connect Roland pads without changing the settings, I can get longer sound. It causes me not to get a voluminous result, especially in toms, and this makes me very sad.

I got this to replace an Alexis crimson snare which committed Suicide after very little playing. It blows the crimson snare out of the water as far as I'm concerned. It's like when I moved from rubber pads to mesh, a step up on playability and feel. I'm contemplating getting the whole kit when i get some cash together.

I purchased this to augment the MPS-850 and am very pleased with the product. It feels much more natural playing with a physical snare, than a small pad. The drum is well constructed and the triggers pickup very well. I have been playing it for quite a few months now and it is showing no signs of wear or damage. I would highly recommend this to E-drum players. It is quiet enough that I can play without disturbing the neighbours.
