MusicNomad Amp & Case Cleaner MN107

It was almost exactly 10 years ago (2013) when I first got Music Nomad products including their Guitar One, F-One Oil and Guitar Polish. As far as I remember, F-One Oil was possibly one of the first guitar fingerboard care products that featured 100% essential oil. I was very surprised that this product was already designed and released to the MI market back in the day. I even got inspired by this product and attempted to create my own essential oil mix.

As a former MI professional, I used to have access to thousands of products to test, try and compare. In my previous roles in the field, we would exclusively use Music Nomad products for many applications. Their product line always felt unique and outstanding in this niche segment.

Music Nomad Amp & Case Cleaner

I recently had a pretty big order and bought a Marshall JVM 410H guitar amp. Along with this amp, I added loads of pedals, accessories as well and care and maintenance products. As I was going to have a proper tube amp for the first time in my life, I felt spoiled and added I just noticed Music Nomad Amp & Case Cleaner to my cart! :)

One of the other reasons that I got the Amp and Case Cleaner was my Fender Stratocaster's hard case. I have been keeping the case in a depot out of my apartment and recently noticed that it got very dusty in that dark place! :)

So I thought I could first test Music Nomad Amp & Case Cleaner on my hard case.

Application is a no-brainer, just put a couple of generous drops on your hard case or amp tolex then rub it with a piece of cotton or microfibre cloth.

It not only cleans, restores and maintains the original look but it also retains this look and feel for a long time! As with any Music Nomad product, I can definitely recommend Music Nomad Amp & Case Cleaner to anyone owning hard cases, drum thrones, and guitar amps with tolex.

It may look a bit costly if you think about how much you would be paying for a litre of this, however, you will probably be using the bottle for 3 to 4 years (depending on how many times you need to apply and how big the surface area is).

Generell kann ich die Pflegeprodukte von MusicNomad empfehlen und verwende selbst eins für meine Gitarre.

Ich besitze mehrere Verstärker von Orange und bin mir daher nicht sicher, wie gut der Amp & Case Cleaner mit anderen Verstärkern funktioniert. Was ich jedoch feststellen musste, ist, dass dieses Reinigungsmittel für Orange Verstärker nicht geeignet ist. Auf der Rückseite steht, dass es mit Vinyl-Material funktioniert, und soweit ich weiß, bestehen Orange Tolex aus Vinyl.

Jedoch hat die Verwendung dieses Mittels mit meinem Orange Verstärker unerwünschte Effekte gezeigt. Statt das Tolex-Material zu reinigen, machte es das matte Tolex glänzend und bildete an manchen Stellen eine leicht klebrige Masse, an der Schmutz leicht haften blieb und schwer zu entfernen war. Letztendlich hat das Produkt das Aussehen meines Orange Verstärkers beeinträchtigt.

Daher rate ich dringend davon ab, dieses Produkt zu verwenden, wenn man einen Orange Verstärker besitzt.
