Good entry into Onyx ecosystem

Good option to run a number of submasters with the onyx software.
The flash buttons are nice and responsive, the faders can be difficult for fine adjustment but nice and easy for the course and quick changes.
Occasionally touch faders can jump to a value if you don't have your finger quite right.
Best option if you cant afford the wing or the nxp

An affordable surface for Onyx

Looking for a replacement for an older PC Lighting control software package, I discovered the ONYX system from Obsidian Control Systems and decided to purchase this NX Touch as a surface control for the ONYX software.

This works seamlessly with ONYX and the quality and finish is first-class, and ONYX with the NX-Touch is my favourite for my work in small theatre and show production.

Als Einsatzzweck benutze, ich das Pult für einen Club der live Musik sowie auch DJ auflegen spielt jeglicher Musik Richtung ich finde es einfach perfekt

Die Steuerung ist sehr simpel Schnell zu lernen und die Touchflächen (Knöpfe) können mit verschieden Funktionen Versehen werden, wodurch man sich immer gut anpassen kann

Positiv
-Leicht erlernbar
-Überschaubare Verteilung
-Touch Funktion ist zu vergleichen wie motorisierte fader
-Programmieren um einiges erleichtert

Nachteil
-Touch kann fehlerbekommen (leichtes lösen der Gehäuse Schrauben)
-Nur mit eigener Lichtsoftware Kompatibel
-Super für Installationen kein Super Touring Möglichkeit

Meiner Meinung nach ist dieser Controller eine Gute Ergänzung, wenn man das Licht Programm Onyx von Obsidian hernimmt das einen PC als Lichtcontroller benötigt oder man einen Extra Wing für seine größeren Modelle benötigt. Schluss endlich würde ich einfach weiter Empfehlen, wenn man sich in die Größeren licht Software Programme einarbeiten will da hier die meisten Grundfunktionen ähnlich wie bei anderen sind.

Inizierei col dire che il programma su cui si appoggia NX Touch, ONYX è decisamente seguito a livello di aggiornamenti, fixture, personalizzazioni ecc, dal punto di vista software è una certezza! forse un po' complicato se si parte da zero, ma in rete si trovano parecchie info e la casa produttrice del software fa spesso seminari gratuiti online.
La console è un ottimo punto di partenza per chi preferisce usare oltre al pc anche un supporto fisico per gestire spettacoli con un solo universo senza dover però acquistare mixer molto più costosi ed ingombranti.
La comodità è sicuramente l'integrazione Software ed Hardware che ti permette di adattare all'istante le funzionalità presenti su NXTouch in base a come si sta lavorando su pc. Forse unica cosa che avrei gradito avere era poter leggere le funzioni attive direttamente nelle varie zone touch magari attraverso uno schermino o qualcosa del genere.
Resta comunque una buona piattaforma per gestire i propri universi DMX.
