That is, indeed, a very good deal. I guess most major drum-producers make sure that their entry level stuff is good - because if the new drummer likes the product he might buy something else from them in future, when he's ready to switch to another level of playing and sound. As far as this kit goes there are three things I don't see changing in near future - shells, snare and hardware; it's just good enough for quite some years of playing. You'll need to change heads after some time - but that's no surprise. As far as Sabians go, they sound, well, how to put it..., not that nicely. Again - that's ok, they are here so that you can hit something, not for recording a second "Master of Puppets". If anything they sound rather like "St. Anger". The snare is innocent though, sounds absolutely OK.
