I have installed this once on the PRS SE Santana Y 2018 model.
No need to tune that often even when tremolo is used. Simple and way faster string changes. Great looks, Looks like Core model headstock. Great quality and fine tune feeling and action. Very accurate to.
My is moded and it sounded great before this change. I have changed pickups, cables, pots, toggle switch, cap, wiring scheme, output jack. And believe it or not changing this tuners it also has changed over all sound. With stock tuners guitar sounded OK and little bit 80's style. With this tuners, posts being brass and all guitar sounds more like core instrument. With stock tuners sound was bright but there was something in upper midds and highs that gave it a character. Not it is clearer and more balanced and sounds awesome. So changing this guitar changed a lot. Sure they are not the cheapest tuners but fit perfectly and work and sound great. Guitar sounds like a core guitar. Mind you I have invested in the parts as much as into the guitar it self. I have installed boutique humbuckers that costed a small fortune. If you change pickups make sure bridge pickup has F spacing BTW. Anyways My PRS 594 Wood Library 10 Top still sounds better but costs 3x more even after paying SE guitar and all the parts. Was it worth it? Well it is for me. One peace neck, set neck guitar. Two peace mahogany body with maple cap with veneer. Set up perfectly, sounding as it is and costed me like 1750 Euro Plus my work time. Other option is to get USA SAntana and that means Private stock and 10-15K Euro. Thanks but I can't do that. This is close enough. I do not need Santana guitar I just needed one more great guitar and that is what I have now.
Are this once needed for PRS models that have no tremolo and have PRS (Shelle alike) tuners? Well not for tuning stability. But will bring the superb string change ease and will change the sound of the guitar in direction of core instrument. Only you will know is that worth the money you need to part with.
Negative point might be only the Price if you do not want to pay that much.

Great locking tuners for PRS Custom SE 24
Machineboy 20.11.2020
Stock tuners for the PRS SE are good, but these are better. Easy to change strings (I can use only my fingers to tighten the lock) and somehow the guitar sounds even more resonant with these. Perhaps it's the brass posts, maybe just my imagination. No matter what, these are great and looks awesome on a black headstock.

Finish off that Guitar Perfectly
JustRachael 03.09.2021
I love my SE Standard and I wanted to just finish it off. The stock tuners are OK, but I wanted a set of lockers. These were exactly what was needed and they took about 10 minutes to swap over when I next changed my strings.

If you have a PRS SE with standard tuners, you should get a set. They're a quality item at a great price. Just liek my SE Standard.
