I purchased an 8 string set to use on a lap steel guitar. Yhe tension of the strings was nife and positive, alloeing for a very easy play with a tonebar. The strings themselves sound very full, with enough top end "zing" to provide the classic lap steel sound.

these strings are grest vakue for money. Go on, treat yourself.

Some of my favourite all around lap steel strings: bright but with some nice mids in there too. No cons I can think of & highly recommended for all styles from country to bues & rock.

Purchased 2 sets,sound and quality are ok.and considering each set consists of 2 plain and 6 wound strings for just over a fiver! Fantastic value.I will buy more on my next order at these fab prices!

Il y a un an, on m'a offert pour mon anniversaire un lap steel 8 cordes Harley Benton, marque trouvable sur Thomann également. Le lap steel était livré avec des cordes, mais suite à une mauvaise manœuvre de ma part, j'ai du changé ces cordes. Je suis venu sur Thomann avec l'espoir de trouver un jeu de huit cordes, n'ayant moi même aucune idée du tirant nécessaire pour le lap steel. Il n'y avait que celui ci, donc le choix était vite fait. Mais quel désastre ! Des cordes bien trop courtes, il ne faut pas espérer faire des tours avec. Un tirant totalement inadapté à l'instrument, étant beaucoup trop dur sur certaine et trop faible sur d'autres. Le son est lamentable et je vous conseilles plutôt d'acheter un jeu de guitare électrique "standard" et d'y ajouter 2 cordes à l'unité, de façon à faire : si-mi-la-ré-sol-si-mi-si.
