HDSPe RayDAT is a multi-channel, multi-format and multi-tasking tool of superior professional quality, the ideal solution from capture to final mastering. Thanks to separate hardware and additional recording / playback channels, SPDIF (RCA) and AES / EBU (XLR) can be used simultaneously for the first time. RayDAT offers no less than 4 x ADAT I / O (optical), SPDIF I / O, and AES / EBU I / O. No less than 36 input and output channels each.
Two MIDI I / Os and TotalMix, RME's unrivaled DSP-based real-time mixer with hardware-computed level meters and complete MIDI remote controllability complete the package. Of course, HDSPe RayDAT also supports the use of the optional TCO for synchronization to timecode (LTC / video).
Internal ADAT inputs and outputs allow connection of up to two optional TEBs (TDIF Expansion Board). Up to two TDIFs can be connected directly to the computer. Ports available.

RME - die besten Audiointerfaces der Welt!

Habe diese Karte in meinem Mac Pro installiert. Ich arbeite in meinem Studio mit Logic Pro 9 und kann dieses Interface nur aufs höchste loben! Die Leistungssteigerung, die man durch die schnelle PCI-Express-Schnitstelle bekommt, ist enorm.
Selbst mit den kleinstmöglichen Buffergrößen arbeitet die Karte absolut perfekt, ohne Störungen. Dadurch sind die Latenzzeiten minimal, wodurch selbst das Livespielen von E-Gitarren, durch virtuelle Pedals, Ampsimulationen und Plugins, ohne merkbare Verzögerung möglich ist.
Dieses Audiointerface ist ein absolutes Profiwerkzeug und der Preis ist fast schon günstig. Auch das Routing der Signale über den RME DSP Mixer ist super Flexibel. Durch das unkomplizierte Handling ist das Interface auch für Einsteiger empfehlenswert, da es stabil und unauffällig im Hintergrund seine Arbeit verrichtet! Bestnote!

Die Raydat macht dat ......

Als ich alles verbaut und Installiert hatte, muss ich ganz ehrlich zugeben war ich kurz erschlagen vom Mixer und deren Möglichkeiten. Nach kurzer Zeit rum klicken und ausprobieren auf Grund meiner Bedienungsanleitungsphobie hatte ich auf mal voll den Überblick.
RME ist ja so finde ich derzeit das beste was es auf dem Markt gibt und nach mittlerweile 12 Aufnahmen kann ich sagen das die Raydat das ist was ich immer gesucht habe.
Sicher, einfach, Super Möglichkeiten, und eine Wandlung die meiner Meinung Konkurrenzlos ist. Einfach SUPER!!!!!!!!

Hab die Karte in meinem PC (2x3Ghz und 4GB Ram) verbaut und betreibe damit 4x Ada8000.
Jedoch nutze ich das System nicht für Studio sondern mithilfe von "Softwareaudioconsole" für den Livebetrieb.
Die Soundkarte hat nichtnur einen super Sound, sondern vorallem eine unglaublich geringe Latenz von 0,3ms und läuft ohne Probleme!
Praktisch ist auch die eingebaute Midi Schnittstelle zur erweiterung des PC's. Auch der DSP Mixer kann durchaus praktisch sein und funktioniert einfach.
Für Studio UND Live kann ich sie Bedingungslos weiterempfehlen!

Ich habe ein Presonus Firestudio, das an sich schon erstklassig funktioniert hat. Manchmal allerdings sind die Latenzlimits unangenehm gewesen. Kurzer Hand die Raydat besorgt. Wow. Das Baby ist einfach super. Mit so vielen Kanälen so niedrige Latenz und dazu die Qualität von RME. Die Karte ist ihr Geld allemal wert. Spannend kann es werden, wenn sie in einem PCIe Slot nicht funktioniert, bzw. bei der INstallation nicht erkannt wird. Das ist mit Sicherheit hochgradig vom Motherboard abhängig und eine klärende Rückfrage bei RME empfehlenswert . Ich bin begeistert jedenfalls
Ich möchte nach mehrjähriger Nutzung etwas dazu sagen: Nachwievor ist die Karte unter den Top-INterfaces. Das alleine ist schon Lob wert. Die Treiberupdates sind perfekt. RME - Gratulation.
Von der praktischen Seite her möchte ich ergänzen, dass die ADAT-Buchsen eine heikle Sache sind und kaum für ein häufiges Umstecken taugen. Die "Klappen" werden dann defekt und bald halten die Stecker nicht. Nun: RME hat diese Norm nicht erfunden, sie ist aber problematisch. Ich hatte ein teure Reparatur deshalb. Dennoch: Ich würde die Karte nicht mehr hergeben wollen. Sie ist aber halt nur für Stationären betrieb ohne Umstecken zu empfehlen.
