Great mics
Ngr Studio 29.05.2019
Sound is rich and clear, proximity effect is not really an issue. Very natural sounding ribbons at a good pricepoint. Mounting hardware is sturdy and easy to use. Case is good too. Great pair, useful on many sources

Whatever "noise" you apply to this pair of mikes, it sounds extremely natural.

My first Royer

I expected a lot of these mikes, as they were going to be the most expensive addition to my mic closet.
I've used them on spoken word, trombone, violin, acoustic guitar and electric guitar. I've used one of them together with a large diaphragm condenser Blue Bottle, the guitar player, who owns the LDM, even admitted that the Royer sounded lovely.
