Great instrument for modern or traditional playing

Really great instrument for traditional or modern playing. The choice of tipper / stick makes a huge difference to the range of sounds you can get from this bodhran. The supplied tipper is nice for modern sounds but I recommend experimenting with others to get the full sound palette from the drum. Very happy with it. Fits well in. A protection racket bodhran case too.

Auf der Suche nach einer guten und günstigen Bodhran für mich (ein fortgeschrittenen Anfänger auf diesem Instrument), habe ich mal alle 3 Bodhrans von Thomann getestet, 2 von Meinl und eben diese. Die Meinl habe ich zurückgeschickt und mich für am Ende für diese stimmstabile Kunststofffell-Bodhran entschieden. Einheimische Produktion, gut verarbeitet und bei Bedarf auch laut genug für Sessions. Im Direktvergleich mit teureren handgebauten Bodhrans schneidet die Schlagwerk recht passabel ab, wenn sie auch nicht ganz mithalten kann. Alles in allem aber eine Empfehlung!
Nur schade, dass Schlagwerk keine passende Tasche dazu hat.
