I don't know if it's possible but I would have liked that the different notes didn't vary too much in volume. I takes extra attention to level out the notes' volumes in the playing technique. For beginners 6 notes is perfect. But I now regret not having bought the one with 8 or 10 notes!

Asiallinen soitin. 6 kielisenä sillä saa aikaan jo monipuolistakin melodiaa vaikka asteikko onkin vähän "kieronlainen" länsimaalaiseen korvaan. Lisäksi kannesta kielien ulkopuolelta saa aikaan seitsemännen äänen ja päädyistä tai kyljestä vielä kahdeksannenkin jos tarve niin vaatii. Kaksi viimeksimainittua toki volyymiltaan ja puhtaudeltaan vajaampia kuin varsinaiset äänet, mutta jos "rullaavaan komppiin" hakee monipuolisuutta, niin tuolta löytää helposti lisää mausteita.
Kielet vastaavat tosi herkkiinkin kosketuksiin ja kestävät myös kovempaakin lyömistä. Iloa löytää myös siitä, että erilaiset malletit (kumipää, puinen, lankakeräpää jne) antavat tunnistettavasti erilaisen soundin ja näitä sekoittamalla saa aikaan hyviä comboja.
Pohjassa joka kulmassa on noin sentin paksuiset tukevat jalat, joiden pohjassa reilunpaksuinen huopamatto. Tämä eristää soittimen hyvin ja estää muiden samalla pinnalla olevien soittimien (vaikka chimes) resonoinnin.
Soittimen roudaamiseen oiva apu on ollut pahvilaatikosta jossa se toimitettiin. Laatikossa jokaiseen 8 kulmaan reilun kokoinen styrox kulmapala ja lisäksi koko jutun ympärille paukkumuovia.

A decent player. With 6 strings, it already creates a versatile melody, even if the scale is a bit "crooked" to the western ear. You can also find joy in the fact that different Mallets (rubber head, wooden head, wire ball head, etc.) give a recognizably different sound and by mixing these you can create good combos. At the base, each corner has sturdy legs about a centimeter thick, with a fairly thick felt mat at the bottom. This isolates the instrument well and prevents the resonance of other instruments (even chimes) on the same surface. The cardboard box in which it was delivered has been a great help for rusting the instrument. In the box, a good-sized styrox corner piece for each of the 8 corners and, in addition, plastic wrap around the whole thing.

Un prodotto molto particolare, dal timbro unico che soddisferà sicuramente le vostre esigenze.
Ho deciso di acquistare questo prodotto perché ritenevo (e poi ne ho avuto conferma) che potesse essere un valido strumento da utilizzare in musicoterapia per la facilità con cui chiunque, anche un non professionista può comunque creare pattern ritmici ed anche melodici allo stesso tempo; ottimo anche come strumento per musiche dal vivo per spettacoli teatrali.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo anch'esso buono, anche considerando il fatto che ha 6 note, corrispondenti a 6 scanalature nello strumento; il prezzo dello strumento con 8 note è infatti decisamente superiore.
Necessita dei propri battenti (io ho preso gli Schlagwerk MA103 Rubber Head Mallets), che il sito comunque consiglia, che infatti sono venduti separatamente, ma che sono essenziali per un suono migliore.

A very particular product, with a unique tone that will certainly satisfy your needs. I decided to purchase this product because I believed (and then I had confirmation) that it could be a valid tool to use in music therapy due to the ease with which anyone, even a non-professional, can still create rhythmic and even melodic patterns at the same time; also excellent as an instrument for live music for theatrical performances. Quality/price ratio also good, also considering the fact that it has 6 notes, corresponding to 6 grooves in the instrument; the price of the instrument with 8 notes is in fact decidedly higher. It requires its own mallets (I took the Schlagwerk MA103 Rubber Head Mallets), which the site recommends anyway, which are in fact sold separately, but which are essential for a better sound.
