This book is a great and comprehensive guide through music theory for those who want to improve as a musician. The combination of analytical and practical approach makes this book stand out from a number of rather dry and boring material dedicated to the subject. Highly recommended!

Excellent book

The first book about jazz harmony that I manage to progressively read and digest, concepts are well explained, concisely but with examples, in chapters of reasonable sizes.
The format of the book is not too big which is a good point when you're going to spend countless hours reading it.
Take it with a grain of salt since I've only read about ~100 pages (in only a few days though, because I love it !)
