Sonic precision in every detail

With the IE 200, renowned manufacturer Sennheiser brings the sound quality of hi-fi speakers directly to the ears of audiophiles – with impressive diffuse-field equalisation and a dual-tuning feature that allows users to select the bass response they like best. These in-ear headphones with a closed design promise endless listening pleasure thanks to an excellent tonal balance that brings out even the smallest details – at a price that won’t break the bank. Compared to other budget-friendly earphone models, the IE 200 stands out thanks to its audio frequency range, which fully covers the entire human hearing range. During the development of the IE 200, Sennheiser was able to further reduce total harmonic distortion, which is now even below the value achieved by the lower-priced IE 100. This wired set of earphones does not require charging, and comes with ear tips in three different sizes to fit any ear - from large to very small.

Flexible and long-lasting

Thanks to its dynamic 7mm extra-wideband True Response transducer, the IE 200 offers exceptional listening pleasure across the entire frequency range from a pulsing 6Hz up to 20kHz with a near-zero total harmonic distortion level of 0.08% – measured at 1kHz and 94dB – as well as an impedance of 18 ohms. The robust braided 1.2m audio cable featuring a gold-plated 3.5mm mini-jack plug for connecting the audio source and MMCX connectors for the earbuds can be very easily replaced so as to ensure that the IE 200 is used over its entire life in a sustainable manner. The left and right earbuds, which can be clearly identified by means of differently coloured rings, offer optimum comfort thanks to their low weight of 4g each and flexible mounting on the ear hooks. These in-ear headphones come with two sets of ear tips made from silicone and three sets made from memory foam, and the user can select from three different sizes to find the best fit for their ears.

High-fidelity sound formusic lovers

The Sennheiser IE 200 is the ideal choice for every music lover looking for exceptional listening pleasure in every detail through impressive high-fidelity transient reproduction – from delicate melodies through to powerful beats. The low impedance of these in-ear headphones means they are optimised for use with mobile audio sources such as smartphones, tablet PCs, and laptops, and can be easily connected in a space-saving manner thanks to their angled jack plug. The wired earbuds work perfectly without batteries, so users can wear them out and about without having to worry about charging. A pouch for stowing away the IE 200 is also included in the scope of delivery. The headphones’ closed design ensures a voluminous sound experience with an individually adjustable bass response, even in louder environments.

About Sennheiser

In June 1945, Prof. Fritz Sennheiser founded the Wennebostel Laboratory, which initially produced measuring equipment. Commissioned by Siemens in 1945, the young company developed the MD-1 microphone, which was launched in 1946. After the development of further microphones, the company was renamed Sennheiser Electronic in 1958. Two years later, Sennheiser introduced the MD 421 dynamic microphone, which is still in production today and still held in high esteem by many sound engineers. Further groundbreaking developments, such as the HD 414 headphones and the MD 441 microphone classic, hugely enhanced the company’s international reputation, eventually making Sennheiser one of the leading manufacturers of microphone and headphone systems in the world.

Because every sound is unique

With the Sennheiser IE 200, music of any genre is brought to life in full detail, directly in the users’ ears. Thanks to its outstanding linear frequency response, even Classical concerts characterised by a great richness of detail become visible before the listener’s eyes, while impressive diffuse-field equalisation ensures a perfect reproduction of Pop and Rock music, Techno beats, and many other musical styles. What is more, users always have the option of tuning their earphones to a heavier bass response according to their individual taste. The silicone and memory foam ear tips are very easy to clean by removing them from the earbuds and adapters, rinsing under running water, and leaving to dry for 12 hours before putting them back on.
