Excellent for beginners / casuals
Timber Wolf 29.03.2018
I just wanted to start playing violin, as it was something I wanted to do as a child (now I'm over 30).

I wanted something cheap that could sound quite good, and after reading reviews it looked that this would do the job.

I bought it, and my teacher was quite surprised of it's sound despite it's price. After changing the strings for 1 set of pirastro tonica sound improved a lot more thatn it was before.

About the materials I can't tell much as I'm not an expert but it looks like the wood it is made off is quite cheap but sounds pretty good.

The knobs where the strings are attached at the top, at first I had to tune it once a week, but after a year or so I almost have not to tune it, it remains unmobile.

After 2 years, I'm still using it and I'm happy with it.
I just play it for fun and it is all I need.

It comes with a case to store it with straps to put on back, a bow and a rosin. The rosin I found it to be useless, at second day I thew the rosin to the bin.

I recommend buying a separate rosin+strings

Good but could be improved
AvocadoHunter 02.07.2017
The price is a bit steep for the quality, the strings need to be tuned quite often even when the oegs are fully pushed in, sometimes you even need to retune them in the middle of a session. The cuts are quite rough and not sanded, that could definitely be improved too. Sound is good and so is the feel, the quality of the instrument is the only thing that brings it down, especially for the price as cheaper violins had better quality at times.

Fantastic Beginner's Violin
Anonymous 19.03.2014
I purchased this violin several years ago with the aim of learning the basics and to get a better understanding of the instrument in general. This instrument certainly didn't disappoint and indeed it exceeded all my expectations.

The build quality is extremely good for instrument at any price point. The violin is solidly constructed and very beautifully finished. In the five or so years that I've owned it I have encountered no problems whatsoever.

The sound quality is also very very nice, though sadly I'm afraid my playing does not do it justice!

Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this violin to anybody considering taking up the instrument or buying one for their child.

A nice upgrade
Alexander Estevez 19.01.2021
I started to learn to play the violin by myself 3 months ago. I bought a cheap one to test it. Decided to upgrade it and bought this one. For my as a beginner it is perfect. Lets continue this journey, but now with a much better instrument.
