Very lightweight which was a real criteria for purchase.Notbthe loudest but can be easily mic Ed up.

Cool drum for intimate performances

It makes sense that this kick drum best suits low volume performances and small spaces, since the club jam series aims exactly to that kind of situation.
I personally changed the stock heads with a remo powerstroke 3 coated and a remo ambassador ebony with a hole and put a pillow in the drum. I got a pretty dead but direct sound.
To make a clear reference, I believe this drum is perfect if you want to achieve a kick drum sound similar to the one of nate smith with the fearless flyers.
I tried to tune it with the stock heads in a more jazzy type of tuning, but the 4” depth and the 18” diameter made it sound a little bit like a toy.
Very light, perfect drum for portability. The quality seems kinda nice, it justifies the price of the drum. One thing to keep in mind is that it slides a lot when you play it, so you may wanna prevent it by using cymbal’s or tom’s stands to block the kick drum legs.

Buona soluzione per piccoli spazi

Acquistata come parte di un kit per la seconda casa, si è rivelato un buon prodotto (in tono con tutta la produzione Tama) che risolve i problemi di spazi. Punto negativo: le pelli. Sostituita la battente con una Remo Powestroke e rimossa la risonante, la cassa suona ora molto bene. Il rapporto qualità / prezzo rimane comunque ottimo.

Fait très bien son travail

J'ai acheté cette grosse caisse pour deux utilisations distinctes :

- équiper une école de musique en petites grosses caisses facilement stockables et transportables
- Jouer dans des lieux exigus avec mon groupe

Pour l'instant cette grosse caisse répond à mes attentes. D'un point de vue esthétique les coquilles sont très bien, l'accastillage en général. Les cercles en bois sont en finition bois brut peint, ce qui est un peu dommage (la texture est très rêche, on ne se plante pas d'échardes en manipulant mais on est pas loin). Les pieds ont tendance à se desserrer légèrement pendant le jeu ce qui amène la grosse caisse à se poser sur son cercle pendant le jeu, un peu dommage...

Sinon le son est très bon ! Un vrai son de grosse caisse (à condition d'y mettre la fameuse couverture à l'intérieur), mais avec 20db de moins, soit exactement ce que je cherchais pour jouer dans des pubs et les bars.

Donc les + :

- Beau design
- Bon son

Les - :

- Cercles à la finition très rustique
- Système de serrage des pieds qui a tendance à se desserrer avec les vibrations (techniquement ils ne bougent pas si je les serre comme un âne mais j'ai peur qu'un serrage violent à répétition ne l'abîme avec le temps)
