This goes on my Lowden F50 every time I practice. Instead of a foot stool or strap to raise up the guitar, I sit up straight resting it on my legs with my feet flat on the floor. I was hooked the first time I used it.
It?s a straightforward functional design, the metal construction is built to last. There?s one adjustment screw that controls the height and it?s angle, where it?s placed on guitar itself is another variable. There?s a strip of foam where it rests on your leg which is comfortable. It was scary the first time attaching suction cups to my guitar, not a mark left so far. The weight is spread over two points which I prefer.
It?s noticeable visually while using it if that matters. It doesn?t collapse or fold up, that and the suction cups stick out over the metal bits, making it awkward to carry around. When clean the suction cups hold tight, but if there?s any grease or dirt they will pop off.
I bought the Ergoplay Professional and love it, but I also turned around ordered a smaller more portable support for gigs.
