The rubber cable is very durable. I have had mind run over by a desk chair a few times a day for the past few months and the still function perfectly (as of 15/05/19, dd/mm/yy).
The connectors have very good tolerances, meaning that they don't slip out your device, but they also aren't stiff. But, because the connectors are moulded, the strain relief has started to show signs of cracking in colder conditions. I would keep these indoors, but they will suit temporary out door situations.
As far as a cheap cable goes, these ones punch above their class. I keep a full backup set of these for when I am on tour. They have great shielding and good balanced connectors for low noise.
For home use, these would last forever.
