I mean your bass would probably survive a bomb explosion in this thing, it fits perfectly, the handle is comfy to hold, and the locks have not failed me once.

Do not use the locking latch

Built as a tank, weighs as a tank. Has flown few times now and all the precisions it hosted didn’t even notice they flew.
Unfortunately thomann decided to fit a subpar locking latch that got stuck shut on my first use so had to be forced open and then sent back for repair. Also the handle could be sturdier as its skin got cut open after the first flight so had to be replaced too. Nice that it’s covered by warranty, but I fear for maintenance costs when it expires.

... bei dem man das Gefühl hat, dem Instrument kann hier drin wirklich nix passieren.

Scharniere und Butterfly-Schlösser sowie abschließbarer Bügelverschluss wirken hochwertig, der Deckel passt gut und verzieht sich nicht. Habe es im Tour-Alltag erprobt.

Mit ca. 10 Kg Eigengewicht ist es zwar nicht superleicht, aber noch im grünen Bereich. An dem gut gepolsterten Ledergriff kann man es gut tragen. Mein Fender Preci passt exakt in das Schaumstoffbett innen, auch für Gurt und Ersatzsaiten sind Aussparungen da.

Ich brauchte noch etwas mehr Platz für Kabel und Kleinkram und habe mir mit einem Cuttermesser einfach noch Schaumstoff "herausgeschnitzt".
