Thon Studio Side Rack XL 10U maple

It is a good versatile rack but a few quality control problems with mine.

1. A dented rack rail which I had to hammer out.
2. Some damage to the edge of the top section veneer.
3. The "Thon" logo sticker on the wrong way round so it faces the back of the rack! (The top section with the logo cannot be reversed).
4. One of the drilled holes for a connector housing was not deep enough so I had to make it deeper.
5. Mixture of philips and pozi screws used.

Given the high price, it was disappointing to have these issues.

Also, bear in mind you may not be able to use the full 3U of the bottom section depending on what you mount in the top part and how deep those units are.

Still, overall it is a good but expensive rack.

Update: I bought another one and it also has the Thon Studio Line badge facing the back of the rack! You can't simply rotate the top round because the fixings are asymmetric so you have to peel the label off if you want to put it on the front leaving sticky residue. Silly things like this shouldn't happen with a rack at this price point.

Deja bastante que desear en cuanto a fabricación y estabilidad. En mi caso he tenido que incluir tornillos extras en las juntas para que se mantuviera compacto y no se separasen las maderas unas de otras calo cual el montaje se hace algo desesperante. Una vez instalas los aparatos en el rack (yo tengo 6 instalados) las ruedas quedan algo bloqueadas y el mueble no rueda bien. Recomiendo buscar otras opciones.
