P
Tube driven fuzzy goodness

For me the basic fuzz sound is there. Plenty of gain and it's a smooth warm tone, not harsh. Is this the tube? I'm not sure but it does sound great.

The real killer feature for me is the octave-up. It gets very spitty which I love, but it's still distinct and not mushy. As with any of the Walrus gear I've used over the years, the quality is excellent.

This is an expensive pedal however and you could get close to the sounds from a combination of a cheaper pedals. I think the Tube does add a tonal smoothness though.

Personally it's staying on my board, replacing a Big Muff Pi.
If you are looking for a Fuzz and an Octave Fuzz combo and have the Euros to spare I'm not sure you could do better than this.
