I bought this absolutely incredible footswitch for my boss katana 50 MKII A while ago after realising the GA-FC dosent work with my amp, but this is a much better footswitch.

The 4 channels are great for changing between different tones ( i use it for having a clean, Overdrive, Lead and metal tone) rhis is especially useful for performances,

This is an amazing foot-switch and is a massive game changer

Exactly what I needed!

The Xsonic Airstep Kat Edition is exactly what I needed! It adds the bluetooth funcionality that the Boss Katanas are missing. In combination with the Katana Librarian app for smartphones it makes tuning and storing (!) sound profiles easy as pie.

Utterly transformational, not very aesthetically pleasing

As a footswitch it completely transforms the functionality of your Boss Katana. The bluetooth connectivity is so good that I have literally never used the knobs on the top other than the power attenuator and the master volume, everything else I do using my laptop or my phone. Two minor issues: first, the USB cable is a bit flimsy and only 2m long, so whilst in the bedroom or practice space this isn't a problem, I've bought a more rugged 5m long replacement from Amazon for band rehearsals and live performances. Second, the unit is just a bit ugly and cheap, and I'm not sure how long the USB connection will last. A minor issue, but worth noting. Nonetheless, more or less a mandatory expansion in my view.
