The Quadro offers so much for such a small package. The quality of the preamps and built-in effects offer professional standard audio. Despite some technical faults with the control panel software, which Antelope Audio are aware of and is in the process of fixing

aber:
Die Treiber auf MAC OS benötigen als Kernel Extensions spezielle Berechtigungen -> ein NoGo
Neustart des MAC / PC: das Interface wird nicht mehr erkannt und muss ab und wieder angesteckt werden. -> noch ein NoGo
Und der sekundäre USB Port funktioniert auf iOS nur für Garage Band / Medienwiedergabe. Telefonate sind so nicht möglich. Weiters mag der USB Anschluss zwar Class Compliant sein, allerdings auf dem USB 3 Standard und nicht 2.0. Somit als Interface zum Streamen für eine PS5 unbrauchbar. (Nicht mal Antelope Support wusste vorab, ob das funktioniert oder nicht)

Das die Software oft mal abstürzt, und dann das Mixing nicht mehr funktioniert und das Eigenmonitoring deaktiviert ist, setzt der ganzen Sache noch einen weiteren Sargnagel ein.

Positiv zu vermerken: Wenn es funktioniert, dann klingt es echt geil!
Die Verarbeitung ist ebenfalls auf einem sehr hohen Niveau.

Ich wollte es wirklich mögen. Aber die No-Gos waren zu viel!

Jetzt habe ich einen Bridgecast X hier stehen! PS5 funktioniert einwandfrei, Treiber benötigen keine erweiterten Kernel Extension Rechte und es klingt auch noch ziemlich gut. Die fehlenden Plugins und somit eingeschränkte Erweiterbarkeit sind nat. ein Nachteil. Dafür ist aber die Stabilität und Zuverlässigkeit auf einem ganz anderen Level.

High end studio quality im Desktop Format

Moin zusammen! Ich habe mich für den Bau meines Studios, welches auf Songwriting und Content Creation ausgerichtet ist, länger mit dem Thema Interfaces befasst, insbesondere Rackmounted vs. Desktop. Best of both worlds bietet dieses Gerät für mich, da es genügend Ins & Outs (über ADAT erweiterbar) für meine Zwecke besitzt, frei zuweisbare Inputs für die DAW (Flexibilität!) und zeitgemäße Features wie das direkte Aufnehmen auf ein zweites Endgerät via zweiten USB C-Anschluss. Genau das, was ich also gesucht habe. Die Verarbeitung ist wie immer bei Antelope Audio Top, die PreAmps großartig und die Bedienung ist einfach. Man kann hiermit sehr, sehr glücklich werden.

One of the best audio interface ever made

The Zen Quadro Synergy Core offers a great quality for its price. It was very easy to install on my Mac Studio M2 max, and it sounds great. It was designed very intelligently, with 4 discrete high quality preamps, SPDIF, ADAT, a lot of routing possibilities and of course a crystal clear sound, thanks to its top of the line AD/DA converter.
The Antelope software that goes with it is also very well made and easy to handle and the FPGA plugins are on par with what Universal Audio offers for a fraction of the price.
