Great sounding pickup with very useable coiltap option
Tony5219 14.08.2015
I've wired this pickup into the bridge position on a Squier Telecaster Cabronita, and it sings! especially with the coil tap wired in, (in my view essential). This gives the pick up vintage (think early 60s) Telecaster tone when switched in and, of course, great modern hot tones when using it as a fully (hotwired) pickup.

Best single coil for punch
JeanThomas 14.12.2022
I usually don't like the regular telecaster bridge pickups, they have way too much treble for me. I find the DiMarzio Area Hot T DP421 to be the best single coil bridge pickup you could put on your telecaster if you want to give it some extra punch. Sounds almost as beefy as a P90 and is a real joy to use with dirt pedals!

PAF, P90 and Tele all in one
Josip Jakopovic 13.05.2022
This DiMarzio pickup is perfect for my Strandberg Salen Classic (T-Style Strandberg), from a roll of a volume control it goes from tele to P90 to PAF sound, it is stacked, so hum free, big plus for me in bridge pickup, all my other guitars are humbucker equiped guitars, so this is a great complemetation to my other guitars.
