OK then, that's one of the highest output SC sized humbuckers of Dimarzio's collection.

Fat and juicy distorted sounds, that's its bread and butter (the more distorted, the better).

Likewise, cleans it's not really what it's made for, it CAN do it as long as you back down the gain/volume of your amp/modeler etc. as long as you like the default voicing. Another way of taming it is to use a traditional all 250K pots on your strat (this will shave off some of the output and will mellow the mids/highs) and lower the pickup a lot. This way it will sound like a medium/high output full humbucker and the cleans will be very acceptable. Still, even in these scenario the volume difference between the Fast Track 2 and any traditional Fender signle coil will be massive, so yet another thing you should keep in mind.

If honest, I prefer the Tone Zone S instead which on paper it has a lower output but in my case the perceivable output of the latter is higher. That's probably because of the more mids of the Tone Zone S whose factory voicing I like more but keep in mind that this is a matter of personal preference.

It's little brother, the Fast Track 1, is an excellent companion at the neck position (I suspect it sould be great for the middle position as well but I haven't tried it).

Außerdem klingt er gesplittet richtig nach Single Coil, wie es sein soll, als HB satte Bässe, warme Mitten und nicht zu kratzige aber schöne Höhen, Perfekt!!! Selbst in meiner Floyd Rose Strat spielt der PU tatellose Divebombs ab ohne irgendwelche unangenehmen Nebengeräusche.

Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos, wie man das von Di Marzio gewohnt ist.

Wer einen PU für Classic - Hard Rock oder auch Heavy Sachen sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben und wird den Kauf mit Sicherheit nicht berreuen!

Se trata de un excelente producto, de fácil instalación y de una calidad superlativa. Tiene incluido una guía de instalación que es clara y con la cual pude realizar el montaje y conexión del Pick Up sin ningún inconveniente, sus dimensiones se ajustaron perfectamente al espacio disponible en la guitarra y no tuve que realizar ninguna modificación adicional. Particularmente, lo coloqué en la posición Bridge de una Fender Stratocaster American Standard en conjunto con un Fast Track 1 en la posición media y un Chopper en la posición Neck. Desde mi perspectiva, se amalgama muy bien con los demás Pick Ups otorgándole al instrumento una versatilidad adicional, tiene un sonido cargado de ganancia con una salida bastante mayor a la del Pick Up de fábrica, ideal para acompañamientos con distorsión. Inteligentemente combinado, opino que es una alternativa excelente para complementar con otros Pick Ups y lograr un abanico de posibilidades adicional a la guitarra. Muy recomendable.
