C
It looks awesome and sound nice
Clausione 25.03.2022
I like very much how the pedal looks and I prefer this sound over any other wahs.

It isn't easy to operate sitting down, especially to switch on/off which demands a bit of force. Don't blame me for playing while sitting, I'm an old guy with back aches. Somehow, it has a short rack gear and it is easier to darken the sound than make it brighter. When you press on toe highs are not thrilling, on the other hand, pressing on heel you've got more bass but also some kind of feedback which prolong the sound, kind of unique sound.

The wah adds a bit of noise in signal chain. The level with pedal off is the same with pedal on and pressed toe.

The construction is very sturdy, it is built like a tank. The pedal stays in place at any height you leave it, it doesn't slip away when you remove the foot.

Nice Sweep!
din65 23.03.2022
Very nice wah! Casing feels really sturdy. It has a very expressive sweep. Great for cleans but it shines through high gain stuff (I think it has more harmonic distortion going on than the normal crybaby). All in all, better than your average wah!

B
A very good upgrade to the original crybaby
BendableB 19.05.2020
great build
great rugged design
2 LED's for seeing if the pedal is on/off
true bypass, doesn't suck away tone like the OG
a good sweep, good balance, very pleasant to the ears
isn't earpiercing
the only downside is the price bump, but if you are a fan of slash and the design you won't be dissapointed

M
Slash Wah....say no more
Mark9156 24.05.2015
I'm really pleased with this pedal, it's actually the first cry baby I've owned and I was surprised how heavy (in weight) it was, although can't comment if they all weigh the same! Sound - there is a really clear sweep on this pedal, I like the sound better going into a gain pedal or amp, no quiet spots! The bright blue led is useful when playing live, although I've gotten some great tones out of it by having the wah on, and just set in one position.

I think the Slash version is voiced for a darker tone, and to my ears this works, I've had other brand wahs before that have just been too trebly, I'd recommend this wah.
