Smooth operation and comes with two rods short and long. The two leg configuration can be swiveled allowing a no clutter area for a double pedal to be in a comfortable position next to the stand pedal. Great overall quality as expected from DW high end hardware.

Noises from cam mechanism

I was really looking forward to this upgrade from the flat base DW6000 line, but I’m really disappointed. The cam is a lot more intrusive and the noise is really noticeable. This is made just overly complicated for me in comparison to a direct pulley system.
