There are probably strings that would do as well, but it's like finding the right hair stylist, don't fix if it ain't broke. Love the feel and sound and ... long lasting virtue of these strings

They are awesome!

I like these strings! I use Elixir for all my guitars, acoustics, electric and basses.
Indeed, the price is high but you do not have to change them as frequently as any other strings.

The tone they provide is really awesome, warm and everlasting!

I combined them with a Taylor guitar and I am extremely happy!

Ces cordes sont vraiment de grande qualité. Une clarté et une rondeur que je n'avais jamais rencontré auparavant.
Je m'en sers sur scène et j'utilisais des cordes Martin (dont j'étais très satisfait), mais là, je ne reviendrai pas en arrière.
Le toucher est souple et le son est pur, clair, rond, chaleureux et toujours égal.
Avec un bon ampli ou en acoustique, ça sonne ! (surtout sur une bonne guitare : Je joue sur une Martin DCX1E made in USA)
Elles sont bien sûr plus cher, mais en pack de 3 jeux, c'est quasiment pareil.
Bref, super satisfait.
