A handsome all-rounder

Electroc guitar Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH EB FBLB

With the Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH EB FBLB equipped with two humbuckers and a single coil, you will be prepared for any scenario. The ergonomically designed body made of mahogany-like nyatoh wood with its flamed maple veneer top is bolted to the Canadian hard maple neck with a macassar ebony fingerboard in a truly traditional way. Tasteful looks, high flexibility, and branded hardware and electronics come together here to create an extremely affordable instrument that is suitable for a wide range of genres.

Sonic diversity and aesthetics

The Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH EB FBLB is a real eye-catcher. The body is made of nyatoh and has a flamed maple veneer top. Its transparent "Blue Burst" finish is also a feast for the eyes and can be found on the headstock as well. The bolt-on neck is made from Canadian hard maple. This instrument is very comfortable to play thanks to its nut width of 42mm and its modern C neck profile. A fingerboard made of macassar ebony with a radius of 305mm also adds to its appeal. The guitar also features 24 wear-free stainless steel frets, a Graph Tech nut, a Wilkinson-50IIK vintage vibrato, and Jinho locking machine heads. The electronics include two AlNiCo-5 humbuckers and a single coil in the middle position, all made by Roswell. These are complemented by a five-position switch, as well as potentiometers for volume and tone. The latter allows the humbuckers to be split via a push-pull function.

Sounds to suit any style

The Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH EB FBLB is extremely flexible in terms of sound thanks to its three pickups, five-way selector switch, and push-pull potentiometer for splitting the humbuckers. AlNiCo-5-magnets also provide a vintage-style touch to the sound - from Blues to Hard Rock and from Pop to Funk. Depending on the particular song and song part, you can vary the timbre and the degree of distortion. Locking machine heads ensure reliable tuning, while the stainless steel frets are characterised by minimal wear - so the instrument will last for many years. With a scale length of 648mm, 24 jumbo frets, and a comfortable C-shaped neck profile, this guitar is based on a tried and tested design. In combination with the contoured body with its double cutaway, all of this adds up to excellent playability.

singlecoil and two humbuckers on the Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH EB FBLB

One guitar for the whole live set

The Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH EB FBLB is ready for any situation. The traditional Wilkinson-50IIK-vibrato system with individually adjustable saddles offers a familiar flat profile, while the locking machine heads and the Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut ensure tuning stability at the same time. The straightforward combination of two splittable humbuckers with an additional single coil provides an extremely high level of sonic flexibility, so that, for example, changing your instrument for the sake of sound should be unnecessary. With one instrument, you can switch from silvery-clean single coil sounds to crisp humbucker-style crunch on the bridge pickup and on to fluid solo tones using the neck pickup.

Appalling quality control
Stevei 10.11.2021
I've had this guitar for several months and it's fundamentally a great guitar. It looks better in real life than in the photos and for the price has a very solid feel and is very versatile.

When I originally received it and opened the box it looked great. However, on close inspection there were a few issues:-
1)The action was very high.
2) the bridge pickup was loose and moved around easily.
3) the stainless frets were pitted and very noisy when bending notes.

I was tempted to send it back, but I really liked the looks and feel of it, and i'd intended to fit lighter strings so hopefully could sort the issues at the same time.
The pickup just needed the springs which sit behind it stretching a little.
I polished the frets with some very fine wet and dry, but need to do a lot more as they're still far from perfect.
I also lowered the saddles and the bridge. There's not much room under the bridge so can only dive with the tremolo.
Unfortunately, with the bridge lowered it was obvious that the nut was much too high too...notes on the first couple of frets were sharp. To correct this I had to lower the nut.

With all that done the guitar now plays quite nicely. The pick-ups are nothing like the more expensive ones in my other guitars, but it's great to use for practise and as a backup for gigs.

Incredible guitar
Vladimr 27.07.2021
Comfortable and responsive, pleasant timbre, excellent attack, fingers easily fly over the neck. Components and materials are of high quality, assembly and painting are excellent. I am overwhelmed with the desire to play this "cuttlefish" from only one species.

Really nice guitar, love it. It appears to be a bit bluer in real life, but overall no flaws whatsoever.

Komplette Ausstattung, toller Sound
Peter416 29.07.2021
Ich spiele hauptsächlich Blues und Jazz(-Rock). In diesen Genres wird die Fusion-III auch von mir eingesetzt. Als Verstärker kommen diverse Fender Amps zum Einsatz.
Positiv:
- Die Ausstattung und die Qualität der Komponenten:
Stainless Steel Frets, Locking Tuner, Wilkinson Tremolo, Graphtech Sattel, Coil-Splitting
Fazit:
Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
