Harley Benton Fusion-III HH EB OCT electric guitar

With this high-quality guitar equipped with two splittable humbuckers, you will be prepared for any scenario. The ergonomically designed body made of mahogany-like nyatoh with a dark turquoise high-gloss top finish is bolted to the maple neck in the truly traditional way. In addition, the ebony fingerboard with a 305mm radius ensures a snappy sound. To sum it up, tasteful looks, high flexibility, and tried-and-tested branded hardware and electronics come together here to create an affordable instrument that is suitable for a variety of genres.

Variety and aesthetics

The Fusion-III HH FR Roasted is a real eye-catcher. The body is made of nyatoh with a top in a modern high-gloss "Ocean Turqoise" finish, creating a decorative appearance. A four-screw neck joint secures the maple neck to the body. This instrument is very comfortable to play thanks to its nut width of 42mm and its modern C neck profile. The fingerboard with 22 wear-free jumbo stainless steel frets is also more than an off-the-rack product, just like the WSC staggered locking diecast machine heads, the Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and the Wilkinson 50II two-point vibrato. The electronics comprise two AlNiCo-5 humbuckers made by Roswell, which are complemented by a three-way switch as well as potentiometers for volume and tone. The latter allows the humbuckers to be split via a push-pull function, thus also making single-coil sounds possible, and the jack socket is ergonomically recessed into the side of the body.

Sounds to suit any style

The Harley Benton Fusion-III HH EB OCT is extremely flexible in terms of sound thanks to its two pickups, three-way selector switch, and the option of splitting the humbuckers. AlNiCo magnets also provide a vintage-style touch to the sound - from Blues to Hard Rock and Pop to Funk. Depending on the particular song and song part, you can vary the timbre and the degree of distortion. Locking machines heads ensure reliable tuning, while the stainless steel frets are characterised by minimal wear - so the instrument will last for many years. With a scale length of 648mm, 22 jumbo frets, and a comfortable C profile for the neck, this guitar relies on a tried and tested design. In combination with the contoured body with its double cutaway, excellent playability is a given.

One guitar for the whole live set

The Harley Benton Fusion-III HH EB is well prepared for any situation. The traditional Wilkinson 50II two-point vibrato system offers a familiar flat profile, and the classic but also striking looks further ehnance the visual appeal of this special instrument. The straightforward combination of two splittable humbuckers allows for an extremely high level of sonic flexibility, so that changing your instrument for the sake of sound during the show should be unnecessary. Such a stylish guitar is particularly nice to have live on stage.

Good guitar, small problems
Manos H 22.09.2022
Bought this guitar recently and used it for gigs since day 1. I am a professional guitarist and gig frequently. I own 19 guitars so I have a selection from customs to fend€rs to music m@n etc. This guitar is awesome for the money, the only criticism is the tone and volume pots, they are rather awful, but it is a very easy fix and will not cost a fortune. Don't read the headstock, play the guitar. Some of them are simply amazing! I understand that because of the mass production some models have problems, but trust me this has happened to me with guitars five times the price of these babies!

A very good budget guitar
tight git 21.06.2023
Although made to a tight budget, you get a great sounding guitar that's really nice to play without having to change anything. For me, the HH pickup configuration with coil tap gives me everything I need, more so than HSH version. The guitar is well made and finished with no visible defects bar one. The fret ends needed finishing with some sharp edges. The frets were otherwise good and level and now having filed the ends, I prefer them to any other in my collection. The pickups sound good and output respectable and pots work well enough. The bridge is better than a lot I have tried. It does not have a locking nut which for me is better and why I avoided the Floyd Rose versions. The locking tuners are very good. One problem with many Harley Benton's is the necks tend to be rather thick, and the bodies can be chunky too which I find uncomfortable, and I spend a lot of time finding guitars and basses in the extensive Harley Benton range with "normal" thickness necks by reading the reviews. I am glad to say that this model has a normal thickness neck. The guitar feels really nice to play, not too heavy or chunky, and as good as my more expensive guitars. I have had several Harley Benton's, some good, some bad, and you need to do your homework before buying one. This one is a good one.

A Beast of a guitar with high end features!
Fulton Street Beats 07.08.2022
I found mine to have superb quality, The finish is outstanding. The playability and action were spot on out of the box. As for the tone, well its a tone monster with those amazing Roswell Buckers in it. The features on this guitar well surpass its price. The best thing is everything works well together. But my favorite part is how well in holds tune with that Wilkinson Bridge. Just Wow. You can't go wrong with this one.
