Messa boogie Recto-verb 25w
Tom2112 22.04.2014
I'm going to start off by saying I'm blown away by this amp, It's fantastic. 2 channels, individual eq, master vol. and reverb controls. as well as a push switch on the clean (adds break-up) and a switch which allows you to play between 10w or 25w (great for home use), output for cabinet use.
The clean channel is great, cuts through very well, very easy to dial in. If you're looking for an amp with a great clean I'd strongly recommend this little amp. Great full sound, loud enough to handle whatever situation you throw at it. The push function also acts as a 3rd channel (would have been nice to control this function on the included footswitch!) lovely light crunches, perfect for country, SRV/blues and AC/DC rhythms.

Channel 2 is what messa boogie are famous for, and it doesn't disappoint. This amp has a brilliant gain channel, great for just about anything. I've been playing this thing for just over a week and I've dialed in great blues, rock, country and metal tones, it handles the metal stuff very well (as well as everything else), the speaker doesn't get flabby and the "fizz" that's usually prominent on other manufacturers amps is no where to be found, this amps gain is big, easy to dial in and very pure (not a typical word to describe gain but... wait 'til you hear it).

Over all, I'd recommend this amp to just about anyone, I played Hotrods, Tubemeisters, Orange terrors, Hi-watts, marshall, everything I could get my hands on, and this amp was my favourite above them all. This amp covered the gauntlet, I was looking for a great sounding amp that I could play at low levels for home use and crank up when gigging, brilliant!. I was looking for a versatile amp - this amp can handle everything scooped mids, down-tuned, country spank, beautifully full cleans for funk and any other style, jazz, pop, rock... I could go on!

I would have loved if the amps "push" option on chnl 1 was foot-switchable and a boost was added but It's hard to find fault with this amp besides.

Great amp strongly recommend!

My first tube amp was a Marshall JCM60 2x12” combo that I sold a digital processor, tube preamp and other stuff to get back in the 90s. I was saw proud. It sounded really good both on stage and in the studio. Since then I have bought a Bognor Alchemist, an Orange TH30 and then this wonderful Mesa Boogie Recto-Verb 25. In fact mine is one of the first ones for Thomann to stock and I was very fortunate and grateful to them to offer and ship it right away! Great amp in features, vintage and moderns sounds, both clean and overdriven, with a wide range of tone from glassy, through crunchy to high-gain. Independent reverb controls for the clean and drive channel, which is very useful. 10W and 20W settings, which is very convenient for various applications. Most of all, a very portable and yet a mighty sounding tube goodness. Built quality is impeccable.

Best Amp ever!

Kontrollierte Feedbacks wann man sie will? Kein Problem!

Was fehlt?
