Utmost care should be taken when adjusting the string action on the nut, which requires not only the suitable gauges from the Precision Setup Gauge Set but also high-precision nut files with sharp, rounded blades. The nut slots must be filed very carefully and measured several times during the process so as to prevent them from being cut too deeply, which would be extremely difficult to correct. Adjusting the truss rod or the string action is far easier: Here, users can simply tighten or loosen the designated nut or screw until the desired neck relief or action height is achieved.

I've always read here and there about setting up a guitar and thought it was rocket science, but with this set of tools I had everything I needed for the setup, furthermore it comes with a very easy yet precise guide for the all the steps of the setup.
