Great jack plug. Unfortunately not compatible.

This is a kind of weird plug. It has a TRRS plug, but has TRS soldering contacts. The ring nearest to the tip does not seem to connect to anything on the soldering side.
This caused it to be useless to me, as I tried to adapt an intercom headset for use with an old ATEM Television Studio HD. However the mic doesn't properly connect with this plug. It probably connects with that unused ring. Alas it seems this is the only 5.23mm jack plug for sale I can find.

Ich nutze diesen Stecker für Selbstbau Headsets in der Luftfahrt.
Zwar muss ich hier für viele Interkoms den ersten Ring und die Spitze zusammen legen, aber das ist ja kein Problem.

Toll ist die verschleißfreie Arretierung des Kabels. Durch Aufschrauben der Fassung wird ein Greifer zusammen gepresst, welcher das Kabel sicher hält, ohne es zu beschädigen und ohne, dass man groß am Stecker herumbiegen muss. Das funktioniert mit dicken und mit sehr dünnen kabeln, da der Greifer sehr eng schließen kann.
